3/ we know contamination existed & doses were released. When manufacturers are allowed to disconnect all information from lot numbers and no one knows who oversees mass vaccination sites or how to report adverse health events, there’s a massive problem in tracking safety signals

Rather than building a Fancy product & launch then fail; design thinking allows us to understand users' needs and their pain points and design an effective solution, then test it.

The original inspiration for this piece was the newly marketed antiviral pills by Pfizer and Merck for the treatment of COVID-19. I thought with hearing so much about vaccines this year, and with pills entering the arena, people might be curious about what each does in the body.
When I started researching, I quickly learned that there were many types of vaccines. Here's one chart I found that explains this (left; by Nikita Ramesh, made with @BioRender). My first idea (right) was to convey ALL these types of vaccines against antivirals.

Anybody who says “the #data don’t lie” either is ignorant or manipulative or both. The data are merely a tool that must be used responsibly & ethically to try to approximate “the truth” …some of which is unmeasurable (yet?). There are MANY #datascience methods & varying results

I can’t tell you how glad I am that I have done coursework at both @MITSloan AND @StanfordGSB - Former immerses you in a ton of hands on analysis & options for analytic techniques useful in a #datascience job. Latter steps back to frame questions, assess missing data, biases.

- Summarizing *a lot* of info in one place

Where this design ultimately fails (and it's BIG): It took me **way too long** to realize this site is promoting paying through your watch. It didn't occur to me until I saw the caption: "The fastest way to pay without-touch."
