The police stormed the crowd on horseback to clear the streets for his photo-op so this pathetic man could leave his bunker to walk across the street and pose in front of a historic church holding a bible. 2/
The bishop of this church just went on national television to denounce him and his abuse of sacred symbols as a backdrop for his message, since it is antithetical to the teachings of Jesus Christ. 3/

Several days ago, a disturbing video surfaced of the killing of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery. Ahmaud was murdered over two months ago on February 23 in Georgia when he was chased and killed by two white men claiming they were conducting a citizen’s arrest for a burglary. 1/
Ahmaud was simply just going for a run, something he did frequently. I’m deeply saddened by Ahamaud’s murder and enraged by the amount of public pressure that was needed for the state of Georgia to act. 2/
How we move around has changed drastically due to COVID-19, and it has been abundantly clear that during a time of crisis, certain people are afforded much more privilege in how they can navigate spaces. 3/

The video and story of the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery, is horrifying to everyone who cares about peace, justice, public safety, and America. The State of Georgia must do everything possible to expose the full truth and provide justice for the Arbery family #JusticeForAhmaud
Having spent years working on a case involving the wrongful conviction of a black man for crimes he did not commit, I am always mindful that we need to reserve final judgment until all of the facts have been uncovered.
But it seems inconceivable from the video that there could be any legitimate reason for the shooting or the gross indifference of the authorities to this tragedy.
What happened to #AhmadArbery is horrifying. What makes it worse is that this is not a single event, but a systemic pattern of injustice & violence against POC tracing back to the Doctrine of Discovery & our nation's white supremacists Declaration of Independence & Constitution.
Biden will act outraged & Trump will say there were good people on both sides. But neither will address the root of the problem. US Constitution refers to black people as 3/5ths & 13th amendment doesn't abolish slavery. This is a foundational level problem. #JusticeForAhmaud

Second, there was no "hunting down" of anyone. The truck is stationary and the black fellow jogs up to it.
Third, you can't tell what the black fellow was doing after he went around the truck and approached the shooter directly prior to the first shot. It is not unreasonable...
