Hi All,

I've recently completed a free online course on leadership from Coursera. Its course curriculum has been designed by IIM-A!

Though I came to know about various aspects of leadership through this course, I still perceive it as a completely different ballgame altogether.
Instead of what management experts and leadership gurus feel—no I'm not saying they are completely wrong—I've just a different way of seeing things.

My perspective on leadership is slightly different.
If you've read this post so far, please bear with me for a minute or two to clarify my viewpoints on leadership.

For your help, I'll provide my perspective in bullet points so that you can understand it better.

"On their own, #BVOCs are benign. However, once they react with oxygen, they produce organic aerosols. As they're inhaled, these aerosols can cause infant mortality and childhood asthma, as well as heart disease and lung cancer in adults." #problems
"There are two reasons plants increase BVOC production: increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide and increases in temperatures. Both of these factors are projected to continue increasing."

1/5 As many of you here watch family, friends, associates and colleagues living their best lives out there, as #COVID19 surges, please know that many ARE NOT okay.

"Psychoanalyst Judith Alpert theorizes that our culture is terrified of death, illness, and vulnerability."

The thing that scares me most about social media like @Twitter is the echo chambers;

Don't get me wrong; I love the families that are created around #NFTs and other #crypto-projects;
i.e. I love following every @firatinsayfasi profile pic in circulation, and I love to see them into my newsfeed; I love to see it populated by @apa_nft, @MifutoMFT and others...

But I think it's something to weigh carefully;

How do you show up for yourself? Inspire me! Tell us in the comments 👇
We've been talking about rest + how you look after yourself. How do you do that? Sometimes I struggle. As a self-employed entrepreneur, a parent, and a 'Doer', I find it hard to rest.

But being diagnosed with a life changing #chronicillness six years ago meant I had to find a way to rest. In part that fuelled my decision to start meditation practice. Then more recently, I've had another health diagnosis, and even my consultant mentioned last week...

...that I might want to think about paring back what I do everyday. It's tiring managing your health, looking after a child, cooking dinners, washings, working two jobs, keeping up with the school emails (is it dress down, or dress up day!!!?).....etc....etc.....etc!

We are all going through unprecedented times. Even for the most optimistic person, there are moments that leave the spirit totally deflated. Yet, through the thick dark clouds, a wiry silver lining does makes an appearance to guide us on. (1/N) Image
Yesterday morning I received a call from Mrs.Sudha Kale a 85yr old elderly lady who was eager to do her bit to fight this grave pandemic and donate Rs.1,00,000/- to PM @narendramodi ji’s ( #PMCARES ) Fund, however she was unable to leave her house due to the lock-down. (2/N)
Mrs.Kale requested if it would be possible for someone from my team to collect the cheque. Even at the age of 85 her compassion and devotion towards a national cause left me deeply inspired, and I told her that it would be collecting the cheque myself, it would be my honour (3/N)

The probable scenario is that the majority of the population will
contract SARS CoV 2/Corona

It is very important to slow down the virus through isolation to have enough time to find a treatment or vaccination.
There is a likely scenario in which we will contract the virus...
... once like chickenpox and then be immune. This means we would at some point reach a
state of herd immunity and only a few people ever contract the virus in future generations, therefore they are easier to treat. The other possible scenario is that the virus mutates....
...and it becomes seasonal like the flu.
Both require the same precautions: Isolation to slow down the virus.

However, it is very crucial to understand that the virus is less harmful to young and healthy people. Some are even asymptomatic (presenting no
symptoms)....

I’ve waited till I was sure of who I would #endorse for President. I just heard the last piece of input I need.

With joy and conviction, I ENDORSE @ewarren FOR PRESIDENT! #ImWithHer

Here’s why. 1/

elizabethwarren.com/?mkwid=slPlgDl…
I remember the first time I heard @ewarren speak. She was running for Senate for first time. She waged fight that gained national attention bc, not only was she sharp as a tack, but she made us believe another way of living together was possible! 2/ #ElizabethWarren2020
As soon as @ewarren entered the Senate she was tasked to lead the effort to protect consumers from the predatory lending that led to the housing crisis! Black families were the hardest hit by economic corruption! Warren #shutitdown! #ElizabethWarren2020 3/
