Since so many ask so often, I will finally share my #UX process (a thread):
1) Get clear on why this app, site or system exists, who needs it and what they expect to be able to do with it.
2) Assess the current state of the app, site or system and map out how people use it.

In this example I asked #ChatGPT for a good package name for my #Android app. I'm not very familiar with the Android world. I knew that it should be built as a reverse domain but I wasn't sure how this would work with an .app domain. 2/
ChatGPT managed to educate me on that and even saved me from pitfalls. In #GoogleSearch it's difficult to ask such questions. The search is only useful if I already know what I'm looking for. In this case it would be "java package name conventions" 3/

1 year ago, I started gaining a lot of interest in Product Design (I was a QA back then). So, I began learning as much as I could about this domain because I wanted to shift my career within the same company.
I did courses, daily UI challenges, read articles on Medium, followed designers on Twitter, watched tons of YouTube videos, and worked on side projects so I can create a portfolio worth showing to Sortlist's Head of Product. I could not ask for a switch in Design empty-handed.
