On the weekend of March 13-14, 2021, hackers stole $ 5.7 million (4.8 million €) in crypto money. The target of the attacks was the website Roll.
This allows administrators of online communities to mint digital tokens called "social money" based on their web presence using the Etherum blockchain and then distribute them to their own community.
The hacker stole these tokens and converted them directly into Etherum. However, it is still unknown how exactly he did it. Roll himself assumes that he has decrypted private keys with which the users of the platform access their virtual wallets.
