Later that same day, I'm notified that there's a "minor" schedule change to my booking.
I've been moved from the 2:20PM flight to the 9:05AM flight. This is annoying because I've already bought my domestic flight to get into BKK in the morning (and there aren't earlier flights)

@MAS #MalaysiaAirlines Fine. So I need to book new flights to BKK the evening before and book a hotel to stay overnight in order to catch this new 9:05AM flight. I book my hotel, but I put off booking my domestic flights.

Five and a half years after getting papped with her at that Xmas party and Jeremy can finally now acknowledge the existence of Lindsey German. #silverlining
Am old enough to remember when the BBC profiled JC and turned to his 'close friend' (I forget exactly how they described her) Lindsey for insights. Since then it's been a tad quiet for some reason but now the dynamic duo are off again.
Since I just got asked who Lindsey German is I guess I should reup a thing I wrote.

Great timing. Dispatched as envoy to A. Cen. 4 at height of Crown Fever season: doesn't bother Centaurs much, but is deadly to humans. So instead of fĂȘtes and soirĂ©es, it's quarantine and Solitaire. Worse, Centauri's Spring is prettiest for light years!

First: @EmergencyDocs sent out an e-mail that all spring conferences were cancelled, including the Leadership and Advocacy Conference (one of my favorites!). I was slated to speak in a health reform debate with @ActuallyDrJ! It was going to be awesome...
Yet, imagine if #COVID19 spread through a meeting of ER doctors. It would have been an unmitigated public health disaster. In some rural areas, there are only a handful of ER docs working the frontline safety net.
