The teenage brain is under reconstruction. The prefrontal cortex is not fully developed until minimum aged 25. A bit longer for males. The prefrontal cortex is largely responsible for: decision making, planning, organisation, focusing, impulsivity, aka executive functions

You'll find that in re: #AlternativeConsent, there's great discussion about preventing patient bias in trials.
They are allowed to dodge consent to avoid that *bias*. This cannot be #ethical. @process_x was right when she warned us about the changes made to the #CommonRule.

The challenge must therefore be FAR more specific, e.g. why are *US medical professional bodies* not investigating fully, and striking off anyone performing such #illegal operations?
