In a change of pace for this weekend, here's a thread on making a steampunk submersible out of copper and a glass bouy #metalworking #copperjewelry #steampunk #crafts
Glass buoy from a thrift shop, old bottle of sauce, scrap wood, soaked in water, and a scribbled grand plan on paper.
I soldered the frame out of copper sheet and wire. Always have a bucket of water handy. I also used some scrap wood and dowels left over from another project for the outer shell and the 'engines' Propellers made from copper sheet.

The #PatnaMuseum and the #Buddha Smriti Park Museum, both in #Patna are my absolute loves ♥️the Patna Museum was established in 1917 with collections that would be safe keeping in mind the local climatic conditions #Bihar #Art #museums #MuseumsWeek #MuseumDocumentation #India
They ranged from Kurkihara bronzes (best in the world) to large&small stone exquisite sculptures of #Buddha #Bodhisatvas #Mahavir #Jain tirthankaras, Queens, Kings & commoners, but less textiles. Of course, the rich #PatnaSchoolpaintings are treasured here. Pics1-3 are from there
The other photos are of the first #narrative and #interpretive #museum on the life of Buddha. It was opened in 2013 at the #BuddhaSmritiPark (Buddha Memorial Park). It’s at the site of Patna’s old #Bankipore jail, and now is one of the most peaceful place in this chaotic city
