For once, it's a chilling effect for anyone, espechally de-facto members of the #press [since @_SecondThought does #journalism, be is part of it] to intimidate them by a govt. agency like @DHSgov.

Here the Retirement System of #Alabama brags about how much money they save public workers in their pension fund by having an in-house, state funded (i.e. big government) investment management team rather than privatizing these services to Wall Street investment firms.
In fact, teachers, sanitation workers, & other public employees actually collectively own through their retirement plan this huge skyscraper in downtown Manhattan's financial district. Now, I'm no fan of rent seeking or private property, but... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/55_Water_…
There is something deeply satisfying knowing that public workers in #Alabama are effectively pooling their money to extract rents from Wall Street bankers rather than paying them a fee. There is an #anticapitalist streak in Southern political culture for those who care to look.
