The biggest hoax in India is that the two wealthiest most-powerful world dominant religions get special "minority rights" while none of the really small powerless communities do.

Meanwhile the US govt has given $1.2 billion to the Catholic Church during Covid for "expenses" and funded a host of other Churches who do not pay any taxes but have been compensated by the govt.

India isn't "secular" either. It blatantly discriminates on the basis of religion against "majority" Hindus. Hindus in India have been deluded into believing that "secularism" means special religion-based "minority" schemes. No secular country does that.
Had an opportunity to spend time with #TapanGhosh when I went to give talk on #HinduCharter in Kolkata. He inspired so much loyalty among the youth and had a very clear vision unlike confused Hindus.

Caste is considered immutable and birth-based.. SC scholarships and schemes are due to a particular historical conditions.

I’m not saying that caste *is* immutable, in fact caste is a fabrication. But it is considered immutable in current theory. Religion isn’t even immutable in theory.

Totalitarian monotheistic religions erased diversity. Even when schism *within* Christianity happened it led to interminable war. This is why Europe needed to invent secularism and “minority rights.”
