1. What is BRC20?

Punk war eigentlich in der Anfangsphase eben nicht unbedingt politisch, das kam eben erst in der Entwicklung, aber Punk hatte immer eine Antihaltung gehabt, und war IMMER gegen Spießer und Moralapostel. Die Klientel, die jetzt gegen #Punk und #Campino argumentiert.

Today in pulp I look back at the simple idea that launched a thousand fanzines: Letraset! Launched in 1959 by Dai Davies and Fred Mackenzie it heralded a graphic design revolution that brought funky fonts to the masses... #ThursdayThoughts #GraphicDesign
Davis and Mackenzie – both experienced designers – created Letraset as a cheaper alternative to phototypesetting, to help speed up the design process. From humble beginnings in an old factory behind Waterloo station Letraset eventually swept across the design world!
Letraset started life as a wet transfer system: you placed the letter into water, carefully slid off the transfer and tried to apply it to the paper without creasing it. Whilst fiddly it was still quicker than hand-painting your letters.
With Trump threatening to punish Mexico for the Honduran immigration crisis he created (geography was not his top subject), I headed to Mexico yesterday to pick up the prize for International Reporting from the Club de Periodistas de México (a prize I share with #JulianAssange).
The big story while I was in #Mexico was today’s planned march in Tijuana, called for by President @lopezobrador. He’s called for hundreds of thousands to march on the border to “defender nuestra soberanía”— defend Mexico’s sovereignty, its dignity.
There’s a feeling that Trump was simply trying to humiliate #Mexico, that it has nothing to do with migrants. Ironically, the President, reasonably referred to as the #BernieSanders of Mexico, has been exceptionally cooperative and respectful toward Trump. gregpalast.com/how-the-bernie…
