With news breaking that Trump advisors say he's "unstable" and "out of his mind," now seems like a good time to remind everyone we really did hand this desperate psychopath the absolute power to use nuclear weapons and kill millions of people.

Bullock's first-strike answer was horrifying. Disqualifying.
"No first use of nuclear weapons" should be a no-brainer. For Bullock to suggest that as president he'd use the threat of nuclear attack as a bargaining chip is appalling.
A couple of people have told me it's bad to make a #nofirstuse pledge because it limits the president's options. I asked them under what circumstances an American president should launch a nuclear first strike.

The only purpose of the US nuclear arsenal should be deterrence. Retaining the right to use nuclear weapons first won’t make Americans safer. In fact, in increases the possibility of a dangerous miscalculation & puts us – & everyone else – at greater risk of nuclear devastation.
