Making the point for me: Just by using the hashtag #OnlyFans I get DMs asking if I need help promoting my account (which doesn't exist). Well, I shall use the opportunity to once again share the face of the pimp-pornographer who is making most of the money here: Meet Tim Stokely.
Tim Stokely - owner of #OnlyFans - is literally a banker's son and long-time pornographer. Every person calling this form of online "sex work" empowering looks like an absolute clown, once you apply basic critical thinking. Porn culture is made by men for men. Through and through

I understand supporting friends when they’ve made mistakes. I understand we should never support mob attacks and pile-ons, particularly if someone is not doing well.
I also understand (all too well) how difficult it can be to be the recipient of survivor stories and what it’s like to be unable to respond at times.
Chocking in porn is something feminists critical of the porn industry have been raising for at least a decade. What happens when you eroticise #MVAW en masse? (and then tell everyone it’s not MVAW) This. A must read. #EndVAW #pornharms theguardian.com/society/2019/j…
And, of course, there is a female pornographer saying the real problem is that choking isn’t generally shown in an appropriate BDSM context. Which is just more gaslighting. We have to be able to name men’s violence against women if we ever hope to address it, let alone end it.
