Today’s #JobsReport was very solid, but like is often the case in the movies, it’s very hard for the sequel (today’s report) to match such an unexpected hit (January’s revised 504,000 jobs gained).
Still, a nonfarm #payroll gain of 311,000 jobs is quite good and having 815,000 jobs created so far this year after the #economy has already created 12 million #jobs over the past two years is pretty amazing in its own right.
Further, the 3-month moving average of 351,000 jobs, after a 12-month moving average of 362,000 jobs gained per month is also pretty remarkable, particularly after the market-implied pricing of the terminal #FedFunds rate has move up 500 basis points (bps) in a year.

And of course, it was an amazing lunch spot too.

The walk begins at the foot of the peak, at Perumal Malai Village, about 11 kilometres from Kodaikanal. It's around 7 km and takes about 4 hours one way. The majority of the hike is somewhat strenuous, with a few steep spots.

Braşov's train station on an early morning. Time for another short #railway trip! This time I'm on the IR366, which starts in Braşov, loops through Romania via Miercurea Ciuc, Dej and Cluj to Oradea, where it crosses into Hungary and trundles on to Budapest.
This area is called #Székely Land, and is where most of the Hungarian minority in Romania lives. In fact, in many places here they might even consist up to a full 100% of the local population. In Harghita province where I'm heading to, 85% of the population is Hungarian.
I'm getting off at Băile Tușnad, or Tusnádfürdő as it is called by the Hungarian majority of this small spa town. It's also officially #Romania's smallest town ("oraş"), having only 1,641 inhabitants!
Lately, I have been very disturbed with the whole #climatecrisis. Every day some new naturally unnatural calamity looms over our head.
The ice caps are turning in cold rocks and I end up in a rabbit hole feeling helpless.

The drive is amazing through the mountains. The 45 min #Hike through forest to get to the river is rewarding.
The whole area is the birthplace of the #legend of Adonis & Astarte.

"Sometimes I imagine him falling through space, drifting like dust from dead stars in the vast nowhere above us. I see him take shape in the soft light of a forest before dawn. First a fog, then ephemeral form, then living flesh."
Brief synopsis: he was found dead in tent in July 2018. Weighed 83 pounds. No phone. No wallet. No ID. $3,600 in cash on him, along with notebooks filled with computer code. @CollierSheriff @kristine_gill put out a composite and people immediately recognize the man.

@SiNiel1 Pengalaman berharga bisa KKN 2 bulan belajar secara langsung tentang kehidupan warga asli dayak di desa Belikai, kecamatan Seberuang, Putussibau.
Teman mahasiswa banyak yg menghindari lokasi ini saking jauhnya. Kurleb 2 hari dg bus baru tiba dilokasi.
