#Footprint candlesticks were first introduced to the public by Market Delta back in 2003. The most famous one is the Bid x Ask split view and most traders' first approach with Footprints is with this kind of visualisation, which is helpful on thick, liquid markets, like bonds. 
One of the most common mistakes that inexperienced traders make is comparing orders that hit the Bid (left side) with those that lift the offer (right side) horizontally.

Context: Tensors of ML/DNN are compressed by leveraging #sparsity, #quantization, shape reduction. We summarize several such sources of sparsity & compression (§3). Sparsity is induced in structure while pruning & it is unstructured inherently for various applications or sources.
Likewise, leveraging value similarity or approximate operations could yield irregularity in processing. Also, techniques for size-reduction make tensors asymmetric-shaped. Hence, special mechanisms can be required for efficient processing of sparse and irregular computations.
We have now released an important Orderflow Indicator called the Bar Statistics
A Bar Statistics provides a tabular view of the important Orderflow metrics at a candle level in a time series format while each of the footprint provides a cohort view of the similiar metrics

Finished a great #zoomclass in the Sustainability and Environmental Change Minor here at @VUamsterdam today!What was supposed to be a 30min feedback session, turned into an 1.5 hour of in depth questions and great recommendations on how we can decrease our land footprint.
The students have shown good knowledge on what drives land use change, but were shocked at the impact of beef and dairy...especially cheese always disappoints them - particularly the Dutch students :) #justdutchthings
I was positively surprised on their willingness to change their diets to decrease their land, carbon and water footprint.And how disappointed they were in EU governments by not informing the citizens on the negative effects of the meat and dairy industry (also beyond EU borders)
