If SA is to escape this death spiral, the following needs to be in place:

1. A narrow, focused alternative policy framework on which coalition opposition parties can agree a program of government, based on the scrapping of #BEE, #NHI, #EWC & preferential procurement;
2. An overhaul of the civil service: restructuring of the PSC, independent competence assessments across the board, retraining or termination of employment for underperforming officials, outsourcing of administrative functions to private sector entities like banks & insurers;
3. An overhaul of the SAPS: independent competence assessments across the board, retraining or termination of employment for underperforming officials, institute fully transparent & public tender application opportunities for private sector entities to win policing contracts...

Why projects would benefit from migrating to Energy Web Chain (EWC) @Energywebx $EWT:

1) No environmental impact as #EWC completely runs on #renewables & has a very low energy usage due to its proof of authority (#POA) consensus mechanism: so no need to offset your CO2 emissions
2) Near zero fees & near instant transactions

3) Migrating is easy, best to contact @WalterKook or e.g. @coebar1 for more info regarding this if interested.
So which projects would benefit from migrating to #EWC? The short answer: pretty much all $ETH based projects in my opinion.

However, I chose to focus on the ones whom also have a strong focus on sustainability. My suggestions are shown in the following posts:

1. The @Our_DA and the @IRR_SouthAfrica are running grifter campaigns. Using fear-mongering and outright lies they are encouraging peeps to sign petitions to oppose the 2020 Expropriation Bill. They are simply capturing your data & will solicit a donation soon. Here are the lies:
2. #BIGLIE 1: The 2020 Bill introduces #expropriation into our law and if you can stop this bill you can stop expropriation.

#TruthMatters: Expropriations have happened across SA for over 50 years currently under the 1975 Expropriation Act. Prior to that under a 1965 Act.
3. #BIGLIE 2: The 2020 Expropriation Bill expands the definition of property to include movables. "They are coming for your car"!

#TruthMatters: The current expropriation law already includes movable property.

The 1975 Expropriation Act defines property as immovable and movable

1. Some of ya'll are REALLY like SERIOUSLY in the sunken place! These institutions didn't ascend to "excellence" because of their "innate adminstrative, academic, and programmatic superiority". Stop spouting that FOOLISHNESS! No, their ascendancy was, is, and always has been
2/ a byproduct of their progeny in proximity to white wealth (Rockefeller, Carnegie, Ford, etc.). Their proximal access to white wealth (not some overblown administrative genius or philanthropic magicianry) is SINGULARLY responsible for their "achieving excellence".
3/ It IS what it IS but let's stop with this revisionist historical take. E. Franklin Frazier chronicled their cultural capitulation in exchange for access to white philanthropy quite well nearly 70 years ago. This ain't "hating" these are the factual realities of classism that

Today there is a @CapeTimes story about Mouquet Farm in Retreat. There were plans for the 2,7ha site to be developed into social housing but now the plans have come to a halt. THREAD
I believe progress on this site may be just one victim of this season's political infighting within the @Our_DA the WC... and there are at least 4 other pieces of land suffering the same fate
In 2015 the City wanted to strip Mouquet Farm for cash. By 2017 the politics around urban land appeared to have changed, reflecting the national mood regarding land and debates around #EWC plus the work of @NdifunaUkwazi @ReclaimCT
