We live in a world that sees physical violence as harmful and psychological/emotional abuse as minor.

Today is Supporting Male Victims of Domestic Abuse Day as launched by MANKIND INITIATIVE. Although at Break the Silence UK we are limited to the support we can offer, we do have our publication "Break the Silence - a Support Guide for Male Victims of Domestic Abuse"
This is available from our publisher, amazon and Waterstones. Not only has this been useful for male victims but also to professionals and family members.

First, we met THIS "gentleman," who I will call Mr. PPC because he showed up in a grey convertible with a #PPC sign on the dashboard, and a decal at the top of the windshield saying Wildrose. He parked on the grass and came out with a megaphone straight for us.
Mr. PPC here gave us three different sob stories about a cousin who relapsed into opioids, a brother-in-law who shot himself, and a third person I don't remember, who died.
Mr. PPC was very adamant (yet completely unclear) that all three deaths were a result of "the lockdown."

2. Eleanor (not real name) reached out for help to a service for victims of #DomesticAbuse. Her male advocate met her in person. He said in a meeting that she was flirtatious. She immediately felt like she had done something wrong.
3. Her instinct was that he was interested in her sexually but after he said she was flirting she immediately thought it was her fault. He then proceeded to breach other professional boundaries by messaging her inappropriately about other things not related to #DomesticAbuse
