2/Of course I wanted to see my mum prior to that though initially the gravity of her symptoms werenāt known. I WANTED her to be on a ward with restricted visits & mask mandates bcs I appreciated she & other patients on the oncology ward were very vulnerableā¦
So many people stopped wearing a mask simply because āeveryone else didā.
Iām sorry but thatās a pitiful excuse to no longer engage in behaviour that helps keep public spaces safe.
Start again. Refuse to believe this is a lost cause.

Of course many people are exempt from mask wearing for health reasons. Which is even more of a reason why the people that can, should. Letās protect each other in the ways we are able. #Covid19
The government and media should be doing so much more. Itās negligent. But many individuals that have stopped wearing a mask already know that many people in power arenāt moral. You talk about it often. Stop putting that knowledge to the side when it suits you.

to do everything when itās not safe? No. Therefore Iāve forgotten what itās like to casually call into a friendās house, to work in an office, to travel, to have hotel breaks, to nip into a shop without a mask and make a takeaway tea and sip through the lid without cleaning it!
To try clothes on in a changing room. To eat out in a restaurant, inside where itās warm! To hold my baby nephews, to hug and comfort a good friend. To have my husband able to visit me after surgery. To have in person meetings and appointments and feel safe. To be a leader in
