The first takeaway is fairly obvious: the #B1G is running the show here. So, the future of the @Pac12 and @WSUCougars status as a Power 5 program follows whether the Big 10 decides to add schools when they finalize their tv deal next month.
As I have noted previously, I don’t think that the #B1G is going to expand beyond Notre Dame. The reason: they don’t need to. They’re already the second best conference &!the additions of the LA schools provide their member schools with ONE all expenses paid trip to LA each year
We are roughly 2 months away from the start of #CFB season! Lets talk expectations. Ill go through each team & give what my model predicts as the % chance each team gets to bowl eligbility, and also the % chance each team gets 10+ Ws given their respective schedules. Lets go!🧵

Really like the new coaching staff in Seattle. Should put them in a better position to win. Roster talent purge from the prev regime will have an early effect (last 2 classes were 39th, 86th) but the ship has been righted.

I gotta say I never thought it would happen. Someone would always do something or not do something along the way to screw it up along the way.
But #UCF is going to join the #Big12 today and I’ve never been more happy to be wrong about something in my entire life.

So today’s the day. Maybe the biggest day in #UCF Athletics history. I’m rocking it old school today because I’m feeling reflective. All the dreams we’ve had for a quarter-century come true today. Let’s not forget where we came from. 
Now you know me and I have a lot of questions still, like payout terms and can the Big 12 patch up Bowlsby’s row with ESPN (I hope so). But the big picture is this:

Now that #Oklahoma and #Texas have officially withdrawn from the #Big12-2-2-2, several academic institutions in the league have started the process of backchanneling (while of course remaining committed to the Big12-2-2-2) for a new home.
Not wanting my own beloved college cast aside to a G5 league that is more aligned with our aspirations and history, I’ve taken it upon myself to produce a similar piece, so that another elite league may choose to add us and carry us on their financial shoulders.
I will keep saying it until my last breath on this Earth:

The 8-team playoff with the Power 5 conference champs, the Group of 5 champ, and 2 at-larges, is not a terrible idea. It's a good idea.
However: If a conference champ has 3 losses, that doesn't honor the season.
