The holiday country Greece is loosening the lockdown measures that have been in place for almost six weeks. Bookstores and hairdressers were able to open in the morning under strict conditions.
The "Click Away" principle has been in effect for other small shops since the weekend: Anyone who discovers a product that they want in the shop window or on the Internet must contact the shop and can then pick up their purchase at a specified time.
Payment is made by card reader. However, be careful for travelers to Greece: Anyone entering the holiday country from now on must do a quick test and then go into quarantine for three days. The Greek state bears the costs of this test.

In the fight against the spread of Corona, the Greek government has ordered a three-week lockdown for the entire country from Saturday.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis justified the tough step in a televised address that he could not allow the health system to be overloaded. From Saturday morning at 6 a.m., all shops except supermarkets, pharmacies and other essential businesses must close.
There is also a general curfew from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. This does not apply to employed persons who have a corresponding confirmation from their employer. If you want to go shopping or go to the doctor during the day, you have to inform about it by SMS.

The Greek government announced a nationwide night exit ban on Saturday to reduce the spread of Corona. “After a long phase of stability, the cases are also increasing exponentially in our country,”
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis justified the step in a video address. "Our scientists warn that the new pandemic will soon shake the resilience of the national health system." The exit ban between midnight and 5 a.m. is due to come into force next Tuesday.
In addition, it will be mandatory to wear a mask across the country from Tuesday. In so-called red zones, where the corona numbers are high, restaurants, bars, cultural and other leisure facilities must also close.

Greece is strengthening the security systems at the land and sea borders with Turkey. Behind this is probably the fear of a new influx of migrants. Five meters high, 27 kilometers long, 63 million euros expensive:

The Greek land border with Turkey is 206 kilometers long. For the most part, but not continuously, it follows the course of the Evros River (Turkish: Meric). The Evros was the scene of a week-long trial of strength in the spring:

A corresponding report was sent to the judiciary. Those concerned are said to have passed information on the positions of the Greek coast guard and coordinates of possible landing sections off the island of Lesbos to smugglers in Turkey.
