I’ve just arrived in Cincinnati to check in with the great faculty scoring the AP French and AP Spanish exams, but some other AP subjects have completed the majority of scoring work, so I’ll be able to start posting results tomorrow. But first, a few quick reminders:
Reminder #1: These scores represent a critical mass of scored exams, but faculty will continue to score late arriving exams throughout June. So we don’t upload scores for educators and students to view until all subjects are complete. Scores will be posted on July 5.
Reminder #1a: If you’re an AP student, here’s information about how to view your AP scores on July 5: apstudents.collegeboard.org/view-scores

This dual axis chart is indeed misleading. Placing 5 countries on the left axis and the US on a different right axis makes it look like US military spending lags China in the last few years, which is far from the case. What are some possible alternatives? A 🧵
#1. First off, just plot all the lines on the same graph! Honestly, yes the US is an outlier, but not so much that you can't see the other countries. Line chart with the title "Top Six Countries with the H
#1b. You could also pair the first graph with a graph of just the five countries. You can do this horizontally (left graph) or vertically (right graph).

By the way, I'm not doing anything crazy here--this is all done in Excel and PowerPoint Two horizontally-oriented line charts with the title "TTwo vertically-oriented line charts with the title "Top

DYKG's latest video mentioned, as many other big channels before it, that The Frog for Whom the Bell Tolls shares code with Link's Awakening.
But what's the source of this information?
At first glance this seems very likely, right? Very similar games with similar looking sections are likely to share code. But in reality, they are two completely independent projects.
I'll show you some evidence to, hopefully, rest my case.
#1. No evidence that this is true exists. The oldest reference to this I can find is in IGN's 2006 walkthrough, which mentions "One thing (…) is that the gameplay mechanics were used to some degree in Link's Awakening." This comment was made by the user who made the walkthrough.

I’m writing a #CartoonClimate 2nd ed, and the draft has our best guess for BAU as SSP3-7.0. Here’s my case, but I invite #ClimateTwitter and #EnergyTwitter to disagree! @hausfath @ramez @DrKateMarvel @AdrianRaftery1 @RogerPielkeJr @KHayhoe @JosephMajkut @RobertStavins [Thread]
2/ Context: The draft mentions the possibility of a low-emissions future (“electrify everything”) and a high-emissions future (fossil-fueled catch-up) and specifies key issues—economic growth, technology, policy—before laying out our best guess for a no-more-policy BAU.
3/ A good part of my case comes from this chart from EIA’s IEO 1994, modified to include 2010 actuals. One modification was to move the legend because China 2010 was almost off the chart! (Note that this shows C; multiply by 3.67 to get CO2.) Take-off growth is unpredictable.

#1. Local SEO is massive

If a pipe breaks, the average US citizen is likely to quickly google “plumber near me”.

This is the real estate you want to be in:

👇
For our store, if you type in “children’s clothes near me” we’re at the top (incognito mode), even beating out Carter’s.

(but failing in Google ads as we haven't started them)

Here’s how to dominate this map:

Been following the #UA328 saga today. So glad everything’s okay and pax are safe. HOWEVER!!! I need to vent about how the TV news media is incredibly aviation illiterate.
It’s a long-running joke in #AVGeek circles that when TV news covers anything airplane-related, they’re wrong on the facts and terminology 99% of the time.
Examples of common TV News aviation-related inaccuracies include:

-Using the wrong B-roll with airplane types in question
-Confusing Airbus and Boeing in name and imagery
-Using the terms apron, taxiway, stand, and runway interchangeably
…and so much more…

⚠️ Long series of comments !!!

1/ Who are our customers 🤔..

Well let's see! First of all, we (Core) should ask ourselves these:

What experience do we have in cryptocurrency, cryptography, utility ?

Why do we run this project?

What realistic goals we can achieve ?
2/ What kind of market can we focus on or (we focused) ?

How many resources are we ready to invest?

What audience (customers) we target?

How can we raise awareness about our product (are we able to do it) ?

How can we obtain our customers trust for using our product?
3/ And finally, can we achieve all of these being a #merika project (company)?

1️⃣ Let's elaborate!

Normies should be our audience (customer) Finding a niche where we can have the advantage by moving first, it can win your customers! Finding this niche it should be priority no1⃣

I think the #coronavirus #COVID19outbreak is going to be particularly bad in the US. Below are some reasons why, based on my experience living in New York, which is now one of the top global epicenters of this crisis. My analysis is sociological, not medical 1/14
Lack of testing is a real danger. A family we know came back from a vacation in France a week ago and all started having immediate symptoms. They asked for a test and did not get one despite fitting many criteria. This alone is not catastrophic so read on. 2/14
Lack of testing should create "presumptive positive" behavior, but in this case, despite explaining to our friends that they have to "presume they are positive until they find out otherwise" they have continued going about their lives, going to parks, shops, etc. 3/14
