I'm actually surprised how much I'm seeing of 2 convos:

1. That Black people don't wanna be lumped in with POC or BIPOC (bc I thought we talked about that back during the affirmative action suits at least)

and 2. A realization that our timelines don't represent the country at large and the country maybe wasn't ready for a woman. I could have sworn we had the first part of that discussion multiple times, and I saw how some of you DRUG people for expressing the second part I'm a person who initially said the country 100% was not going to vote for a BW, and then I saw how quickly folks got engaged and changed my mind. And I do believe without the almost assured election interference that took place, Kamala would have pulled it out, by a SLIVER. But that would still mean almost half the country wasn't rocking with it.

Then time got away from me so I said during the day yesterday.
Then I forgot (my bad).

So here we are. And the musical word will go forth even if we're not able to be present in the sanctuary.

In the new year, the twitter #MusicSermon will be like the party and the “service” @VibeMagazine will be the afterparty, giving a more focused and intense look into our topics.
