It's worthwhile looking at new VP JD Vance, Senator Josh Hawley, and new Senator Jim Banks, and what they can show us about the New Republicans, the Midwest, and "elites".

Vance was born into poverty, living in KY & OH. Banks grew up in a trailer park in IN. Hawley is from
1/ a rural county in MO with less than 5,000 residents. They are each what coastal "elites" might refer to hicks, yokels or worse, from places in flyover country that no serious person has ever heard of.

Yet, they are also clearly now "elites". Vance & Hawley came from humble

Situation update, 11/6/24:

The 2024 election results are best seen as a split among the factions within the Ruling Coalition that enabled the 2020 election steal. Much of the Coalition hasn't given up on anything, they are a cornered rat. New "elites" have emerged
1/
such as Musk & Vance, and their open support helped make Trump's win possible, particularly aided by Musk's control of X.

Perhaps most important is the part of the Coalition that publicly moved to the sidelines, such as Bezos, Zuckerberg, and many others. They did not help

Accurate, but I would argue the situation is much worse. There were two huge failures for the whole world to see.

1. The economic superpowers of the US & Europe were supposed to dwarf the power of primitive "gas station with nukes" Russia. In practice, they couldn't even
1/ manufacture enough "dumb" artillery shells to keep Ukraine supplied. For all the bluster & the talk, the US & weapons can't produce the weapons & munitions to wage war for any significant period of time.

2. It's been the biggest war in Europe for ~80 years -

This is also my #1 question about tomorrow & tomorrow night. Does the blatant steal occur on an even larger scale, or do they "allow" Trump to win?

Neither answer is a destination, nothing is settled by this election. Rather, 2 very different paths are available,
1/ and the beginning of going down which path will be decided for all of us by whether the election is stolen again.

If it is, and Harris is installed as effective dictator (it will be difficult to deny the situation at that point), then Trump & Musk go to prison or worse,

Combining my recent personal experience, replies & what I've read elsewhere - what is happening is much organized & planned than I had realized.

The immigrant hotels are new, like ours, and they are going up all over. These need to be financed. So, the first step is someone
1/ plans the targets, the communities to be racially transformed and flipped Democratic.

The hotel owners get long term financing from... somebody, likely major Wall Street firms or banks, totaling likely tens of billions of dollars, and all based on the govt paying

Reading X one learns what is actually happening in the world, and this became clear to me on a recent trip. We went to a small city, in a Red state, in the Appalachians.

Every employee we saw at the hotel (except one Hispanic) was a foreign-born black with strong accents.
1/
This is in a town that has historically been almost entirely white, like the rest of the area. We also noticed that surprising numbers of our fellow "guests" appeared to be recent immigrants, who didn't have cars, didn't speak English well, but could afford a $100+ a night

A nation can't be a military superpower without being an industrial superpower, and it can't be a 21st century military superpower without being an electronics superpower.

China is sanctioning 6 US companies, including Skydio & Edge Autonomy Operations

I put manufacturer in quotes, because as discussed in the 🧵👇, most talk of companies & nations building drones is

Let's look at this video not in election terms, but in terms of cultural fertility.

An angry speech that is explicitly anti-male & that pushes female entitlement, particularly when it comes to abortion & careers.

Politics aside - this is a cultural suicide cult.
1/ Women being driven away from men, while pursuing careers, and making a pseudo-religion centered around killing babies in the womb is OBVIOUSLY going to lead to far below replacement fertility rates. It will die over time & the bloodlines will eventually end for all

OK, several pieces just came together.

A counter-elite is emerging - and they neither need nor want to share power with old style Repubs. Trump was crippled in his first administration as he was an individual, not a large alliance. He had to reply on old style Repubs
1/ to administer for him, at the Cabinet level and the political appointees below them, and they obstructed him or stabbed in the back at every opportunity. Trump was a threat to the System, and they were creatures of that system.

This time around, powerful, wealthy men

The group that is in existential danger if Trump is elected isn't the Dems, but the controlled opposition / neocon Repubs. There is a generational transformation underway, and the new Repub base has no support for the Pences & Romneys of the world.
1/ The meal ticket for the old-line Repubs was to pretend to stand in opposition, to get elected & then roll over, and to receive enormous financial rewards in terms of Cabinet appointments, board seats & so forth.

They've never actually represented the people voting for them,

Long, worthwhile 🧵👇from Hank on his theory as to why Dem voter turnout is material lower in early voting.

Read the whole thing, but he believes that perceived status is a key driver of the white Dem base, and as this population grows poorer in inflation-adjusted terms,
1/ then perceived status falls, along with enthusiasm and voter turnout.

What's interesting is if we project this ahead to a time that I believe is quite likely, when this entire class of people is likely to become downright impoverished as a result of major declines in

Agree about the inflection point, but I think it is more about the dwindling reserves rather than integrity.

The long almost static phase was based on fixed fortifications, but with the Ukrainians never having the men up front to defend everything, just as the Russians
1/ never had the manpower to attack all along that long front. The Russians would concentrate men to attack, the Ukrainians would rush in combat-ready reserves, the attack would be stopped, and there would often be a counterattack.

Yes, this falls into the perverse incentive system that many women have created for themselves.

There used to be a bit of social taint for woman to reach 20 or 22 without marriage. The men of that age were strong, working, no man in the village had high status.
1/ The young man was not lower status than her, she had no realistic prospects of a higher status man, her status improved upon marriage, and decreased with each year that she didn't marry.

There was a very strong incentive structure to marry early,

The issue is declining relative market value. The whitepill is that there's any easy solution.

Women achieve peak power over men in their late teens to mid 20s. They are young, they are beautiful, and their every move advertises "peak fertility", which is irresistible to
1/ men as a matter of evolutionary biology.

In contrast, for most men, this is their period of lowest relative market value. Not all men, but for the average male, getting a date at all can really take some effort, and the babes are out of their league.

I would extend this to include not just Yemen, but Ukraine, Gaza & Lebanon. The new military landscape of plentiful cheap drones & missiles means that Land beats Sea, Land beats Air - and the West has the wrong military for this situation.

Yes, a nation can blow many things
1/ up from a distance, whether from air-launched or sea-launched assets. Yes, particularly when presented in propaganda channels, this produces big explosions that look good in videos. But, when the smoke blows away - the land power is still there, it takes land power

I love women. I love my wife. I love my daughter. I loved my mother. I love my sisters. I love smart, caring, loving, nurturing women.

So, where have these gender wars come from? Why do I write about toxic women hating men?

This toxicity is not natural, but was created.
1/
One of the worst of the crimes of the Left was to create a toxic gender divide that did not previously exist, for the political benefit of the Left, while making innumerable young men and women miserable.

Plainly put - married white women with children vote Repub

This is another Leftist post where all the action is in the ~500 comments & 200+ QTs.

Matt is trying the same old trick - use the media to define what is acceptable for the controlled opposition. Every person on the RW responding sees the trick - and will have none of it.
1/ This is related to yesterday's 1M view viral thread 👇, another professional Dem thinking that young white men can be reclaimed by shifting the messaging that they spread using their media dominance.

Nobody was having any of that, it wasn't

I view it more as a matter of getting drunk on the power of coercion. We live in what is effectively a welfare state with very high levels of governmental control over behavior.

Historically, women depended on men for food, shelter & protection, while men depended on women
1/ for raising children, as well as what used to be extensive domestic chores, before men invented modern ovens, washing machines, vacuums, dishwashers, etc.

There is no longer any direct need for women to have men in sight, so to speak (other than linemen, etc.),

This is a fascinating post, if you go deep down into the 1.4k QTs. The recent stuff is RW, but the early stuff shows exactly what is going on.

The Left hates men in general, and white men in particular. Woman after woman, particularly WOC, coming in from a bizarre perspective
1/ of female entitlement & hatred. Their world is where nothing is built or created, there's just an endless buffet of goods available for consumption, as they stare into their phones, and worry about themselves and the nuances of their sexuality.

As I've written about numerous times (next post👉), we're not yet in the crisis where everything turns upside down - but it's on the way, and could arrive in the next four years.

When standards of living drop sharply, and the attempt is made to particularly impoverish
1/ the real producers of the Heartland in order to maintain the patronage payments to illegal immigrants, urban underclasses, urban service sector workers and so forth 👇, then I would have a very strong preference for a highly divided government.

The key words here are her questioning whether they should "allow this drift towards full masculinity."

Wow. There's a lot to unpack in this 38 second segment. Men being "recruited to fascism." Men needing therapy.

The big one is total female control over males & what males
1/ are allowed to think and do.

Male & female minds work differently. As the result of 100,000+ years of tribal warfare determining the few Y chromosomes that survive vs the great majority that do not, men on a primal level do understand that not just violence, but organized
