I’m proud of Vice President Harris, her team, and the campaign she ran. She is an exceptional leader and an inspiration.🧵
Like so many of you, I’m incredibly disappointed and concerned about the future of our country. But I am grateful that you all sent me back to Congress to represent you and our community.

I'm proud to serve as President of the Freshman Class of Democrats in this upcoming Congress. The 34 of us are ready to take on our country's greatest challenges and stand up for working people across America.
Let's meet these incredible new members. A thread 🧵
.@MGPforCongress is the proud owner of an independent auto repair and machine shop. She flipped a red district and will fight for the working class as she represents the WA-3rd district. Her campaign is the model of how we win back the House in 2024.

Amazing news as all 1538 kids have now left the Long Beach migrant shelter and have been unified with family or sponsors, a week ahead of schedule. It’s an incredible accomplishment for the Biden Administration, @HHSGov & our local community. We are so grateful for the support.
This incredible effort would not be possible without the incredible team at the @LBConventionCtr, the attorneys at @ImmDef, the doctors and medical team at @UCLAHealth, and the hundreds of community volunteers who donated over 130,000 books, toys, and supplies.

We are incredibly saddened to share that my stepfather, Greg O’Donnell, has passed away due to complications from COVID-19. It’s a heartbreaking loss for our entire family, especially for my brother Jake.
Greg was a kind and good-hearted man, an amazing father and grandfather, and the best husband our mom could have ever hoped for. He worked hard for his family and started his own successful small business as a contractor with his brothers.

It is with deep sadness that I share that my mother, Gaby O’Donnell, has passed away due to complications from COVID-19. My brother and I are heartbroken. Our mother was the kindest and most compassionate person we’ve ever known.
She immigrated from Peru to the United States in search of the American Dream—and she found it. She became a healthcare worker, caring for thousands of patients over her career and assisting nurses and doctors who she loved dearly.
