With a heavy heart, we have decided to close our dine in service starting January 1st for the foreseeable future. This will be the third time we will have too close since we opened 13 months ago. The past 13 months being a brand new business has been a massive struggle……..
but with covid cases soaring at an alarming rate the safety of our staff, customers & health care workers must always come first. But we will be open for dine in (…….pint in) as advertised Dec 31st from 12-6pm……..
I love chocolate. Many people do. If you are a person that loves chocolate, drop what you are doing and go immediately to Ch. Cafeteria in @GrovenorYEG. (I know they are closed now but you can get in line).

Sarah, Diego, Nadia, and Victor are the owners and they are from Mexico City. They opened Ch. Cafeteria in October 2020.

She was absolutely right about the quality of the chocolate. I bought some coconut chocolate, a chocolate chai drink, and some chocolate truffles.

Things like this make me mad 😡. @HarvestHillsYYC is a grass roots organization that only has at the moment a staff of twenty volunteers that also have lives and families of their own
But when someone makes a request and demands to be put to the top of the list ahead of others..

...and when they are politely told that it was not possible because there were other requests ahead of them...they accused The Harvest Hills Cares Calgary Team of not wanting to help!
They even threatened to go ahead and tell everyone about the “experience” they had.

Jenn had her volunteer call her in tears because that volunteer was threatened as well when all they did was respond in an appropriate manner.
