I took a bike ride service yesterday and had the fantastic experience (1st of its kind) of meeting this ambitious and dynamic powerhouse of positivity. Ms. Venkata Lakshmi L is in her 40’s and a single mother.
After her husband's death, she had no time to grieve as she had to care for her family. But, being not one of the easy giving-up types, she told me that she invested every penny from her savings into getting the bike and signed up for both services to make ends meet.
It’s #WomensDay2023 and I know so many amazing women. Many inspire me but it’s not just about that, some are funny, fiercely independent, loving, strong, clever, passionate, individual and some are just making it through the day. As for me well today I realised ….1/
I’m enough, I’ve been filled with self doubt for a long time but today I’m going to be happy with me, where I am and the things I’ve achieved. I’ve raised 3 amazing kids and that is my proudest achievement #WomenPower 2/

#MaharashtraGovernment is now used to murders being documented as suicides. I have already made it clear in my letter. I’m very strong. If I’m dead, it can only be a murder. #SSR was killed. He did not get a chance to say this, so I have stated my point much before the event.
I filed a writ in #HighCourt hoping that the judicial system will help. But the court does not find this issue emergency so does not come on board. If I was an actress, It would be easy. The only way left now is to fight alone with the help of public of India #myrightmyfight

She was married off as a minor, Abandoned by her husband before she turned 18 and never given a divorce till date.. That did not discourage her... She studied, got a job as a teacher, earned and supported herself.. Even though her husband never acknowledged their marriage (1/N)
acknowledged their marriage for nearly 50 years in public... And inspite of him being CM for 3 terms and PM for 2 terms., she has proved the power of being a stong independent woman.
