Those on the receiving end of white supremacy can respond to #LouieGiglio anyway they want. But something is seriously off when white people are scapegoating Giglio instead of confronting what his #WhiteBlessing language unmasks about good-hearted and sincere white theology. 
This is not about “word choice wasn’t great” this is about what white supremacy is. Unmasked in all it’s well-meaning, heart-in-the-right-place, desiring-unity, racism-is-a-heart-issue, softy-softy, I-don’t-harbour-hatred, niceness.

I'm listening to the entire convo now and the whole thing is a setup from the beginning.
That part where Giglio says the difficulty White people have w/ understanding racism is that they can never experience it directly. That's such a standard White copout. Why do you need to experience injustice to know that it exists and that it's wrong?!
Dear .@louiegiglio, with this thread I follow the example of Paul, who publicly rebuked Peter in book of Galatians when Peter tried to placate the faction called judaizers by practicing segregation. Your championing of the term #whiteblessing in reference to #slavery is SIN. 1/
Your sin against Black people, especially women, was public. Therefore, your rebuke must also be public. For, you are an international leader. People of European descent and BIPOC in your network will follow your lead into sin, if you are not corrected publicly. 2/ #whiteblessing

1) correct your thinking on white privilege and white “blessing,”
2) suggest a 3rd term that is the essence of this entire set-up: #WhitePatriarchy,
