En 1785, Louis XVI décide de lancer une grande expédition de découverte afin de concurrencer la Grande-Bretagne et les voyages du capitaine Cook. Le roi choisit un officier de Marine réputé en la personne de Lapérouse.
Les préparatifs de l’expédition ont lieu dans le port de #Brest, sous la direction du vicomte Fleuriot de Langle, commandant de L’Astrolabe, l’un des deux navires de l’expédition. Les meilleurs marins de La Royale sont sélectionnés, quasiment tous Bretons.

Strumming a few chords or playing a riff through a loud amp usually makes me feel better. It's more of a distraction this time. My amp is a little old. Even a #ragpicker might pass on it. "If you're not going to play it, sell it," Ava nagged. Life always got in the way.
