In Kyiv the Russian armored columns finally reached the city center. The BTG there was Burned, Toasted, and Gutted and proved to be a hit. It would be kind of cool to see if they did anything about the smell.

I was at our skeptic organization's stand, when an older gentleman approached me, among the last visitors there.
"I'm an engineer", he introduced himself.

I smile and reply, my voice box tired: "We can't rule out their existence, the Universe is a big place."
The engineer leans over my table, wagging his eyebrows conspiratorially: "But do YOU believe that they are among us?"

Humor brk. In Ben's directions re: "poke test" to see if sourdough's ready to shape: "If dough doesn't really spring back, you're kinda fucked...Bake it anyway, but you should let go of any expectation you have for that dough. It's easier that way. Just...let it go. Let. It. Go."

If your airline shifts your flight by more than 6 hours, they're REQUIRED by DOT regulations to issue a refund if you request it.

2/ Had a family trip to Hawaii planned for next month that we booked last year.
Just received FULL refunds for both the flight (United attempted to shift my departure forward by a full day), and the hotel (which updated its cancellation policy to waive fees b/c of COVID-19).
