തൃശൂർ പൂരത്തിലെ വെടിക്കെട്ടു സംബന്ധിച്ച് സംഘപരിവാറുകാർ ഹാലിളകിയത് ഓർക്കുക. സാധാരണ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളില്‍ കാണുന്ന വേല, പൂരം എന്ന അർത്ഥത്തിലും തൃശൂർ പൂരം, പൂരവുമല്ല. ഇതില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളുടെ ഉത്സവവുമല്ല തൃശൂർ പൂരം. അവരുടെ ഉത്സവത്തിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാനദിനം മാത്രമാണെന്നും അറിയണം.

ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉൽസവം മറ്റൊരു ക്ഷേത്രാങ്കണത്തിൽവച്ചു നടത്താറില്ല. തൃശൂർ പൂരത്തിൽ പാറമേക്കാവും തിരുവമ്പാടിയും മറ്റ് ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളും മറ്റൊരു ക്ഷേത്രനടയിൽ ചെന്ന് ഉൽസവം കൊണ്ടാടുക എന്നത് തെറ്റുദ്ധാരണയാണ്. ഭഗവതിയും ശാസ്താവുമാണ് പൂരത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന ദേവതകള്‍.

1. The first permanent movie theatre in #Kerala was set up in #Thrissur by Kattookkaran Varunny Joseph (as Jos Bioscope Projections), following his bioscope shows at #ThrissurPooram. It exists today as Jos Theatre in the heart of the city in the Round.
2. One of the projectors used by Joseph was exhibited for a long time at #Sapna in Thrissur, a theatre founded by his family. It was finally handed over to the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy in 2020. Sapna, incidentally, took life as Rama Varma theatre in the 1930s.
