Viral culture is a great proxy for contagiousness. The latest study of #omicron found even higher % positivity after Day 5 than others.
% positive viral culture by day:
Day 5: 83% (44/53)
Day 7: 52% (26/50)
Day 10: 14% (7/52)
Day 14: 8% (4/50)
