Last week, I discussed #ContentWriting, but today's topic is different. Before going further, I want to declare outright that I am not a feminist or atheist. I am just a pragmatic, who sees a glass & water as two distinct things rather than seeing it half-empty or half full.
World has moved forward. Girls have gone to space! But culture, religion, ethics, & social evils continue to haunt girls worldwide. I don't want to talk about India, you've plenty of cases where women face atrocities almost every single day here. #RuralIndia #WomenLifeFreedom
Hoy me han comentado un hecho muy triste. Un niñ@ de primaria ha hecho un dibujo para un concurso escolar. Se le da muy bien dibujar, así que no era de extrañar q tuviera muchas posibilidades de ganar el concurso. Alguien en clase le ha abierto la mochila y ha roto el dibujo.
Nadie se ha dado cuenta hasta q el niño lo ha hecho. Le ha dolido tanto, tanto ha sido su esfuerzo y su trabajo y tanta maldad para hacerle daño en lo que más le gusta, q no ha podido dejar de llorar y lo tuvieron q recoger de su casa pq no encontraba consuelo.
Cuáles han sido las medidas por parte del centro para resolver el conflicto y compensar la injusticia? Ninguna, porque, según ellos, son cosas d niños. Y así no educamos, así los niños aprenden q si hacen trampas, no pasa nada. Que si hacen daño a alguien talentoso, pueden ganar.
"Con 20 años tenía que tener herramientas para dejar atrás el bullying que sufrió en el cole y no tomar decisiones drásticas".

Imaginemos que tenemos un hijo "diferente". Da igual esa diferencia. Más sensible, de altas capacidades, de bajas capacidades, con TEA o TDAH...

Con alguna diferencia o limitación física, con dislexia, tartamudo, con una orientación sexual diferente a la mayoría, con gustos peculiares en su hobby o en forma de vestir...lo que sea.
Y si crece en un entorno amable, respetuoso e inclusivo, termina brillando y siendo feliz.

Pero si crece en un entorno hostil, acosado, aislado, cuestionado, juzgado, se ríen de él...termina siendo un adulto inseguro, con problemas de autoestima y sumamente infeliz. Y no explora sus posibilidades, y deja de estudiar, o de buscar trabajo, o de relacionarse.
Yo fui un abusón o bully. Desde los 12 años hasta los 15 tuve sometidos a otros niños, que creía más débiles que yo. El instituto era como una tradición familiar, mis hermanos habían pasado por ahí y éramos como una saga. Nunca me echaban o me castigaban como merecía.

Un acosador no acosa sólo, tienes a tu pandilla que te ríe las gracias. Empecé a codearme con lo peor de cada casa también en el barrio, a faltar a clase, porritos, pasar de todo hasta que supendí el curso. Fui yo quien pidió a mis viejos que por favor me cambiaran.
No por qué me arrepintiera de nada, porque me daba vergüenza ser el repetidor, ir en la fila de los del curso inferior, de ver a mi tropa como pasaba delante hacia la graduación mientras yo me quedaba atrás.

Estudié en el colegio de La Asunción de Gijón durante cuatro años. Me dejaron heridas contra las que aún estoy luchando. El acoso, el abuso y la violencia eran parte de la cultura del centro, que en la mayoría de casos no hacía nada para impedirlos. (Sigue hilo) 
Cuando un matón me pegó en clase, pedí a mi tutora y a la directora que intervinieran. No hicieron nada. Tampoco cuando pegó a otros chicos. Ni siquiera cuando fue llevado dos veces a juicio por agresión.
Es más, intentaron convencer a una de las víctimas de que retirase la denuncia. Protegían a este matón porque su familia, propietaria del restaurante Los Pisones, daba mucho dinero para el equipo de fútbol del colegio.

Le empujan, se burlan, le da pellizcos, le dejan en un rincón sin jugar... Todo esto cuando no hay profesores cerca, claro. Y si él se queja todos dicen la misma versión, que no han hecho nada y que en todo caso ha empezado él. Hasta amenazas más graves que no tienen que ir a
Empezaremos explicando que quien sufre el acoso es siempre la víctima. Por tanto es importante no cuestionar su discurso o rebajarlo/minimizarlo ya que podemos conseguir que cuando suceda algo nuevo no confie en que le escucharemos y apoyaremos.
Apoyad siempre a vuestro hijo o hija ya que según mi experiencia cualquier persona que ha sufrido un hecho traumático necesita el apoyo y la comprensión de sus seres queridos.
Los casos como este, que a todo profesional nos llegan antes o después, son horribles por el sufrimiento que ves en el niño. Más aún cuando intentas que se haga algo al respecto y todo son trabas o "yo no lo veo". La solución suele ser cambiar de
colegio, castigando a la víctima y reforzando la conducta de los acosadores que, por cierto, van a seguir haciendo lo mismo con otros niños.
Cuidado además en los casos en que nos metemos en un trastorno de conducta, porque no se va a quedar "sólo" en acoso a terceros, también se van a meter en peleas, van a ser crueles con animales (y con otras personas), pueden robar

This is a place to make income, and right now during COVID, this is a place to be social with people, now that physical contacts are limited. Internet should be safe place to go to talk to your friends, or make something you love, in the same way real life is...

Not only is this boy a minority in the fact that he is Sikh, but he is an Afghan Sikh. His parents do not speak English (well) and are lucky to have settle here in Leeds... But imagine fleeing a war-torn country only for your child to be filled with terror every day of his life.

Carlos no es muy alto. Tiene el pelo corto y negro, usa gafas y está algo gordito. Tal vez sea porque nunca le ha gustado mucho el deporte; y practicarlo menos. Él siempre ha disfrutado mucho más leyendo un buen libro o haciendo puzles con su madre.
Últimamente, solo está con ella. Su padre murió cuando tenía 4 años, por lo que no recuerda nada de él. Tan solo lo que su madre le cuenta en esas tardes de puzles. O en cada Navidad, cuando, mientras decoran el árbol, se le escapa alguna lágrima contando lo mucho que lo quería.
Last Tuesday my beloved sister who studies in @GhiyasuddinIS was nearly poisoned by one of her classmates. She had put hand sanitizer in my sister’s water bottle while she was at the library. This was not the first time something like this happened her.
She has been a victim of bullying over a year now and yet the school’s management has not taken any serious actions against these kind of cases. Even from the recent event, @GhiyasuddinIS did not take this problem as seriously as they should have.
If the school management does not take any actions against these kind of cases, how can these problems be solved? If this continues to happen, the one who gets affected by this are the victims.
