I *won't* be making lists of inspirational women.
It's not a lack of inspirational women that's the problem. It's patriarachal systems of oppression which prevent those inspirational women being heard, or (worse) prevent women reaching their potential to be inspirational.

We tend to think of mothers as the more biologically connected parent, and the assumption is that moms are more of a ānaturalā at parenting whereas dads are not. This is not true. Dads have some VERY interesting biological responses to their kids!

@LeeGettler & colleagues found that dads who spend lots time with their kids-caring for them, cosleeping, hanging out, just everyday things-experience a rise in prolactin.

As a rape survivor I never felt safe reporting it to the police. I couldnāt even say the word ārapeā until days after my assault & I sure as hell didnāt feel safe walking into a police station full of men & telling them what had happened to me.
And as a WOC I was petrified of the ājusticeā system & what it would do to me, how it would try and drag me to protect this man. My rapist was a well known personality in Philly and at the time, definitely held more power than me.
