la finalità non è nemmeno troppo nascosta: documentare azioni illecite "spesso indirizzate proprio contro gli operatori del Reparto mobile"
d'altronde da anni in USA si parla di come queste bodycam siano sostanzialmente inutili, possano dare una falsa impressione su ciò che sta avvenendo e sono poi accese/spente selettivamente dai poliziotti o i video ripresi spariscano nel nulla

In Italia Clearview AI è già al centro di un’istruttoria del @GPDP_IT grazie alla segnalazione di @privacynetwork_ di febbraio. La nostra segnalazione vuole supportare l’attività del Garante. Da marzo 2020 infatti sappiamo che i dati degli italiani sono in mano di Clearview
Per Clearview, il suo database è una miniera d’oro: più di 3 miliardi di foto raccolte di nascosto online. Per scoprire di essere lì dentro una persona dovrebbe prima sapere che esiste l’azienda, inviare una richiesta di accesso e sperare di ricevere risposta.

There is no ban for gender identification and recognition of sexual orientation either. Subject to a ban are subliminal techniques beyond a person’s consciousness, but only if they cause physical or psychological harm to that person. 3/23

Ora si dice che per riaprirli servano riconoscimento facciale, termoscanner, addirittura "l'AI" per il distanziamento sociale.

Il governo precedente voleva addirittura usare riconoscimento facciale dal vivo sugli spalti insieme a radar sonori. Contro la pandemia? No, contro il *razzismo" (!?)

AI systems that manipulate human behavior “to the detriment” of the persons using the systems shall be banned. That is a great idea. But the devil is in the detail. What does “detriment” exactly mean and how can those persons know and prove they have been manipulated?
AI systems used for “indiscriminate surveillance” shall also be banned – if applied “in a generalized manner to all natural persons without differentiation”. Does that qualify as a ban of targeted (surveillance) advertising? Asking for a #DSA shadow rapporteur.
