With Brexit, the only sphere of influence the UK Govt has, is in the CW and this is held together by the Monarchy.
Without favourable EU tarrifs, the UK turns to commonwealth countries.
With Barbados gone and Jamaica and Belize rumoured to be next, the racisms claims mean a lot.

The British Monarchy isn't a benign apolitical institution. The UK on its own, is a small island without significant resources & depends on it's former colonies more that we are aware of. In Kenya for example we have military bases and one sided trade deals that favor the UK.

I hadn’t had the misfortune to encounter this gruesome minister, Victoria Atkins, before, but I see she voted against private landlords, of which she was one, being required to make homes ‘fit for human habitation’, which feels about right. #ToryBritain
