বজ্রাহত হবার থেকে রক্ষা পাবার জন্য নিচে লেখা বিষয়গুলো মেনে চলা দরকার। শুধু সচেতনতাই পারে অনেক জীবন বাঁচাতে।

১. বজ্রপাতের ও ঝড়ের সময় বারান্দার গ্রিল,বাড়ির ধাতব কল, পাইপ ইত্যাদি স্পর্শ করবেন না।
২. ব্জ্রপাতের সময় বারান্দায় বা বাইরে দাঁড়িয়ে মোবাইলে কথা বলবেন না।
৩. খোলাস্থানে অনেকে একত্রে থাকাকালীন বজ্রপাত শুরু হলে প্রত্যেকে ৫০ থেকে ১০০ ফুট দূরে দূরে সরে যান।
২. ব্জ্রপাতের সময় বারান্দায় বা বাইরে দাঁড়িয়ে মোবাইলে কথা বলবেন না।
