Intellectuele uitdaging: Wat zou je doen als je dictator was en vandaag, zonder advies in te winnen, over het pensioensysteem van de komende halve eeuw moest beslissen?
Ik zou zeggen: 1 sluit de pensioenfondsen (laat ze de bestaande pensioenen afwikkelen); 2 behoud de AOW; 3 laat de overheid persoonlijke pensioenannuïteiten met inflatie-indexatie verkopen tegen markttarief (als geïndexeerde staatsobligaties) met beperkte belastingvrijstelling.

Based on my back-of-the-envelope calculation, Dutch pensions are actually a pretty bad deal. It is likely that current contributors will receive less money than what they pay in. It is crucial that the new #pensioenakkoord is implemented fairly to improve this situation. 2/n

Op de vraag zijn ppi goedkoper dan pensioenfondsen zijn wordt als reden de legacy gegeven. Dit wordt mogelijk door het invaren opgelost.
