Okay, all things considered, it’s not /that/ bad. He’s walking away with all his limbs intact which is always preferable. And other than his uniform, there were no casualties for the duration of his shift.
…he won’t be able to wear those pants again after they were /shredded/ by that half-pterodactyl woman. Not to mention, the news managed to capture his All Might themed underwear in high definition. They are currently re-running the footage every hour.

Ever since they graduated from U.A. Katsuki is carrying a small photo book with him.

Katsuki was fucking /terrified/. He gripped the bouquet of brilliant red roses in his hand and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. He looked into the shiny metal on the inside of the elevator, and closely observed his reflection.
Katsuki wasn't one to just get nervous for no reason. Hell, he rarely got nervous, so this feeling was extremely new to him. He carded his fingers through soft spikes, and narrowed his eyes slightly.

Katsuki’s mind is preoccupied with trying to figure out how those bandits got the drop on them in the first place. That and visualizing all the close calls they barely managed to survive.

Most people just slog through their daily chore, too exhausted by the odd hour to notice much other than the food items in front of them. Katsuki is one of those people, drowsy and fatigued. But he’s also a pro hero, highly attuned to subtle shifts in the environment around him.
It’s why he can anticipate villain attacks sometimes without even looking. It’s why, right now, he’s dragged out of his half-awake stupor, suddenly perking up.
Something is amiss. It’s like a hum of energy in the air—he can sense it but can’t nail down its source.

When he wrenched eyes open, he found the yellow-blue color of barely there sunrise beginning to creep between the blinds. He sighed and pulled the covers up to his nose, huddling into them. Sleep. He needed more sleep.
A warm palm slid around his waist, body heat pressing to the length of his spine, his behind, even the backs of his thighs as Katsuki curled around him entirely, and he hummed with happiness, that low-building giddiness not something he thought he’d ever get used to.

Bright sunrays snuck through the closed curtains and placed spotlights on numerous areas on the carpeted floor and bed. The muffled sounds of cars honking and shouting came from the streets below, not bothering the sleeping men.
The newest member of the Bakugou family, a small brown pomeranian named Dyna, slept soundly between Katsuki and Izuku. She twitched in her sleep, dreaming about eating a dozen dog treats with puppy friends she met at the dog park.
