I have been so fed up with many Hindus propagating misinformation about #Manusmriti saying nobody has access to the authentic text, or that it was fabricated by British, etc, I thought it is a good idea to take a picture of printed books of Manusmriti I have with me.

व्याकरण के नियमानुसार मनुष्य अथवा चराचर सब वस्तुमात्र जिसको धारण करते हैं, वह धर्म है।
यह धर्म का शाब्दिक अर्थ है।
धर्मशब्द सुखहेतु गुण, कर्म वा द्रव्य का वाचक अभीष्ट है, किन्तु दुःखहेतु गुणादि का वाचक नहीं।
जहाँ दुःख का हेतु धर्मशब्द आता है, वहाँ उसमें नञ् अव्यय संयुक्त करके अधर्म कहते हैं।

यजुर्वेद के ३१वें अध्याय में ‘यज्ञेन यज्ञमयजन्त देवास्तानि धर्माणि प्रथमान्यासन्॰’ यहाँ धर्मशब्द कर्म का पर्याय वाचक है।
