[THREAD] We have launched new #gendertargets as part of our efforts to foster a diverse work environment. The strategy includes targets for hiring and promoting women, as well as for an overall increase in female staff by the end of 2026. Read more ecb.europa.eu/press/pr/date/… 1/3 
To reach this overall increase and create a more gender-balanced workplace, the ECB plans to fill at least 50% of new open positions at analyst, expert and management levels with women #genderbalance 2/3
Ultimately, these measures aim to increase the share of women holding positions at analyst, expert and managerial levels to 51%, 47% and 36% respectively. We will review the targets in 2022 and 2024, adjusting or introducing measures where necessary 3/3
