截图中的函数接受2个池子的地址作为参数, 套利合约通过对比两个池子中当前资产的价差来判断套利空间进而执行交易完成套利, 得益于 matchmaker 只发送能完成交易的bundle 的特性, 所以如果套利失败也不用担心gas损失, 因为套利失败那么这比套利交易根本不会上链.

MEV is a dynamic that allows miners to maximize their profit by determining the order of transactions on a blockchain network to their advantage. This includes arbitrarily reordering, including, or excluding transactions within a block at the expense of users.

After the Merge, rewards to miner will decrease, resulting in MEV will increase the percentage of profit for miner. Therefore, the MEV problem is getting important. Several solutions arose to mitigate these negative externalities. Most prominently, #Flashbots.

Most of the articles and information available on #Flashbots are aimed at developers and technical people. Technical knowledge is needed to realise the full potential of Flashbots. On the other hand, it also limits the possible tool adoption among users for its other benefits.
pro tip: 如何正确使用 Flashbots?
1/ 通过 Flashbots 发送交易时，只有交易成功时才支付矿工费，更节约交易成本。
可以减少在 Uniswap Dex 上兑换被夹的可能（当前版本 v0.4，交易未隐私，仍可以被 relayer 和矿工看到）；避免在 Opensea 扫地板时被别人抢先扫掉，交易 reverted 仍然需要支付 gas。

3/ 检查 metamask 是否正确选择 Flashbots RPC 网络
通过 Flashbots RPC 网络发送交易，长时间未被打包会被丢弃；这时需要注意的是，如果有进行中的交易，不能切换网络至以太坊主网，否则会将交易发送给以太坊主网的 RPC 节点，导致失败交易被打包，从而浪费 gas。

1/ @Uniswap v3 introduces a new form of MEV attack — Just-in-Time Liquidity (JIT), that allows LPs to add and remove concentrated liquidity positions atomically in one block. Sophisticated actors are running JIT bots to sandwich trades, to the detriment of pre-existing LPs 👇🧵
2/ Using @DuneAnalytics, we find the @Uniswap positions that are added and removed in the same block for the same LP. From this, we calculate the revenue from the fees of the sandwiched trade, and subtract the gas costs required to perform the JIT attack:dune.xyz/embeds/233623/…

Why mint via a bot instead of through a UI? Most NFT drops have a limited number of items avail to mint. It's your job to get one (or many) of those scarce jpegs. To do this, you need your transaction(s) to be prioritized in the mempool and picked up before the drop sells out.
MEV (Miner Extractable Value) seems like such a complex attack that traders ignore it. But there's too much at stake though. Let me ELI5:

Over $370m has been extracted by miners since 2020. Attacks have only become more sophisticated with time - besides the famed #front-running incidents, back-running attacks, time-bandit attacks and liquidations are all par for the course.

That’s not to say one can’t play bots at their game. Salmonella intentionally exploits the generalised nature of front-running setups, while over at @kattanatrade a front-runner paid 68 ETH to the miner and ended up with tokens he couldn't sell.
