आज सकाळी मी ५ वाजता उठून मस्त फ्रेश झालो आणि ६:१९ am ला #नाशिकरोड रेल्वे स्टेशनला निघालो. स्टेशनला #motorcycle park करून platform वर गेलो. सगळे मित्र मंडळी एकत्र झालो (अथर्व, मानस, गार्गी आणि आमचा पायलट). सर पण आले. मग ७:०५ am ला #पंचवटी एक्स्प्रेस मध्ये D4 डब्यात बसलो.

Reservation केल्यामुळे सगळे स्वत:च्या हक्काच्या seat वरती बसलो. मग #इगतपुरी येथे वडापाव, मेंदुवडा खाल्ले आणि नंतर मस्त मौज मस्ती करत करत #दादर स्टेशनला १०:३३am ला पोहचलो. त्यानंतर #Western_Lines च्या #local मध्ये बसून #राम_मंदिर स्टेशनला उतरलो.

मुंबई विद्यापीठाच्या दीक्षांत सभागृहात शिवसेनाप्रमुख स्व. बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्या जीवनावर आधारित छायाचित्रांच्या प्रदर्शनास भेट दिली. बाळासाहेबांच्या व्यक्तिमत्वाचे विविध पैलू उलगडणाऱ्या छायाचित्रांमधून त्यांच्या आठवणींना उजाळा देता आला.

विद्यार्थीदशेच्या काळानंतर अनेक वर्षानंतर मला या वास्तूत यायची संधी मिळाली. मुंबईतील काही वास्तू जगप्रसिद्ध आहेत. त्या जगप्रसिद्ध वास्तूंमध्ये मुंबई विद्यापीठाची ही वास्तू अत्यंत महत्त्वाची आहे. इथल्या वास्तूमध्ये हा आगळावेगळा कार्यक्रम आज इथे घेतला जात आहे.
बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्या छायाचित्रांचे प्रदर्शन तसेच त्यांच्या नावाने काही अभ्यासक्रमही इथे सुरू करण्यात आले. बाळासाहेब ठाकरे हे एक अलौकिक व्यक्तिमत्व होतं. आमचे त्यांच्याशी अतिशय घनिष्ट संबंध होते, तसेच आमच्यात संघर्षही होता.
