Weigel started out as an early blogger and college Editor/Reporter for the Chronicle, a conservative rag at Northwestern (2000-2004).

I’d bet money that most of the dirt-bag left has no clue how far right Weigel was back then. He even worked for the Center for Individual Rights - you know, the public interest law firm fighting to ban the use of race in admissions and other affirmative action initiatives.
Right, following on from this thread about #IntrusuveThoughts, a lot of people have commented about embarrassing memories that pop up out of the blue and make them cringe all over again.

Rund 460km An- u. Abreise für ein paar sekundenlange Takes. Echte grüne Unterstützer eben. Kommen wir zur spannenden Frage: Darf 1 Pfarrer, derart exponiert im liturgischen Ornat Wahlwerbung für 1 Partei machen? Um es direkt zu sagen: Ein katholischer zumindest dürfte das nicht!

I thought some people approach this meme very innocently, posted amazing selfies, probably not thinking out their paricipation and who it would exclude or make feel bad.
