The #Ukraine war has shifted international political attention from the Glasgow #COP26 voluntary pledges to the Russian invasion.
Among the Glasgow pledges in detail, I see the most serious shortcomings in the pledge to phase out global funding for coal and other fossil fuels, the so-called #carbonbomb as The Guardian has currently called it, but also in the trend of continued and accelerated #deforestation
IEA's Global Methane Tracker reports higher emissions, but that may have to do with better tracking - which would be a success of Glasgow's #MethanePledge.
