1. Frens! First of all, it was an epic IRL team meeting, which we all loved and is super inspiring to our team and project spirit. Remote work is great, but still cannot beat the IRL relationship building. LFG frens! Let's keep #buidling.

1/ I’m in #Crypto because I believe it’s an incredible, uniting force for good, and our best chance to solve problems that otherwise seem to rip our society apart. This past week reinforces my belief.
2/ We're just starting to see its ability to unite across party lines. Not just to strike a “deal” (like in the infra bill generally), but uniting in belief that #Crypto is a powerful force for good.
3/ Several Senators showed great courage @RonWyden @SenToomey @CynthiaMLummis and were joined by @senrobportman @MarkWarner @SenatorSinema @ossoff and @tedcruz

2) From 2014 - 2017, we thought anything and everything was possible. The ecosystem's early visionaries saw the potential of a trustless, decentralized, permissionless 'world computer' and let their imaginations run wild.
3) Everything was brand new. Everything was a piece of the puzzle that needed to be built. Standards (ERC20, 721, etc), infrastructure, wallets, research - these are a topic for another time (& the #EF & @Consensys handled a lot of this work).

2) The special-purpose depository institution (SPDI) is esp impt. It helps solve the #blockchain sector's prob of difficulty accessing basic US$-only #bank accounts, which v few banks offer to start-ups. Many horror stories of start-ups shutting down bc banks closed their accts
3) US businesses that lose their bank accts go out of biz (for ex. IRS requires withholding taxes to be paid electronically via a bank acct). It’s critical to success of #blockchain sector that more than just a few banks serve industry (for basic checking/payroll/cash mgmt accts)
