If you are age 12+, it’s been at least 2 mos since your last dose of #COVID19 #vaccine or any # of #booster dose, & you haven’t gotten your updated #Omicron bivalent #boostershot, get it! Likewise anyone 6m old & up who hasn’t had a #FluShot this fall, go get one. Same day is👌.
There is unfortunately no vaccine vs #rhinovirus or #enterovirus. For that, our best bet is to improve air quality (open windows if possible, Corsi-Rosenthal boxes, etc), #MaskUp, & try to get those around us to #WearAMask too. Really concerned for folks with #asthma etc like us.

3) for those asking, I got the 30 mcg Pfizer shot—it was the only option within 30 miles today. But I had the Moderna booster last November 2021. While Moderna is slightly higher 50 mcg booster dose, switching it up is generally good too.
This is #BurningMan—as thousands of attendees headed home—with scores of superspreaders catching #COVID19 and then taking it home with them. Outdoor activity didn’t save them from the virus. #Ba5 is that transmissible. Don’t risk it—get the #BoosterShot.
2) seriously. There are many multitudes of reports of #COVID19 among Burning man attendees. Likely a big superspreading event.

Listen, important. Most adults in #Maryland are #vaccinated. Fewer kids are. MANY haven't yet gotten a #boostershot (only 70M in entire US pop of 331M #boosted). A booster will ⬇️ risk of hospitalization by 88% & starts protecting you in 7d with major protection in 14d. GO DO IT!

Got my Moderna #boostershot💪🏼 the other day (after 2x Pfizer shots before)—easy walk-in. Felt great, only 12 hours later had slight chills for 30 minutes that passed quickly + nap. I also donated blood the day before. Everyone should donate blood🩸 if you can—hospitals need them.
2) During blood donation, I actually learned that it doesn’t matter if you recently got the #COVID19 vaccine. The blood donation service accepts your blood without any special waiting period - they only ask you don’t feel sick the day of donation.
3) The needles used to deliver the vaccine is tiny, compared to the huge needle they use to draw blood for donating blood. For something life and death, i don’t think “scared of needles” can compare to the risk of covid. The vaccine needle also goes in your deltoid, not vein.

❌ Les lobbys industriels veulent nous faire croire le contraire, mais la pharmacovigilance n’a rien d’équivalent à un essai clinique et ne permet pas de repérer aisément les effets secondaires d’un produit, notamment en raison des protocoles d’analyse et de la sous-déclaration.
C’est pourquoi des experts alertent sur le fait que la rapidité du déploiement des vaccins #Covid pose la question des effets secondaires qui n’ont pas été détectés ou qui ont été mal évalués lors des essais cliniques, notamment les myocardites (Pfizer, Moderna) parfois fatales.
