In this video I show you how Op India used a 45 seconds clip from @ShekharGupta's Cut The Clutter Video and mischievously edited it to make a narrative that is not only false, but 180 degree opposite to what Mr Gupta said. I welcome @OpIndia_com to correct me if I am wrong.
The point where Mr. Gupta said "several prominent Bloomsbury authors and you'll see those name on screen..." there were screenshots of @DalrympleWill @harikunzru @AatishTaseer etc. In Op India's clip the screenshots are mischievously of @sanjeevsanyal @Sanjay_Dixit etc.
The entire Cut The Clutter video of Mr. Gupta was about blaming the liberal mob of bullying Bloomsbury into withdrawing the book. He completely blamed liberals. And Op India made headline that he is blaming right wing. Here is original video

We now see how a book is banned even before release. A certain British gentleman seems responsible for this.

This is not new.

It happened before in 1907.

An Indian wrote a history book.
Brits banned it even before it released.

That Indian? Veer Savarkar.

#bloomsburyindia
It's funny to me because I'm writing the chapters about how Savarkar tried to get his book published but found it impossible as the British empire threatened and scared every publisher.

The modus operandi hasn't changed in 113 years. #bloomsburyindia
Savarkar wrote a book about the history of the 1857 revolt, and was the first one to call it the First War Of Indian Independence, as opposed to Sepoy Mutiny.

Obviously the British didn't like that. #bloomsburyindia

Two fascinating strands emerging from the #bloomsburyindia saga. First, Chinese whispers of it being a @BloomsburyBooks UK call (not @BloomsburyIndia) at the behest of some celeb Bloomsbury author (of Indian origin or residing in India); Second, the Left-Lib scored a 'self-goal'
2/n as it would lead to the creation of a RW Publishing House on the lines of @SwarajyaMag and @OpIndia_com. This indicates two things IMO - 1)The domestic Le-Li constituency is frustrated by shrinking media platform within India; Hence, an attempt to shield #bloomsburyindia
3/n 2) Increased dependence on the NRI and Expat Le-LI Club to build pressure thru foreign media. Expect this trend to grow louder in the coming days. But, just like Congress the more vocal they get they'll be drowned under the din their own voice in the echo-chamber. #bloomsbury
