Even in any other situation, it’s not ok to have staff roughly treat anybody this way and even going as far to damage personal property. I can’t help but feel sad that all my hard earned money went into getting him is just a sour memory now
Even another security guard told him that it wasn’t the stand that was taken and even has a picture, but he refused and still took me with him 😭
In 3 days I went to Kentia Hall, Exhibit Hall, the Entertainment Hall, panel in Petree Hall, panel in Main Events + JW Marriott lobby, second floor waiting for Platinum Ballroom, and panel in Platinum Ballroom. I did not do any other events at #AnimeExpo
At the Exhibit Hall, there was a big difference in the readings at the Bandai Namco area between Day 1 and Day 3- it started off strong at around 800 to 900 ppm but by Day 3 it was consistent with the rest of the show floor at 1300 to 1400 ppm
Most of the Exhibit Hall show floor on Day 3 from 1pm to 3pm remained around 1400 - 1500ppm but this area in yellow outline seemed to get to 1700 - 1800+ ppm. I didn't go to the orange outline so I don't know how that was #AnimeExpo #covidsafetyAnimeExpo

Yousuke Hatta: "I am not sure if it is a more recent trend or culture, but I get this sense that people feel if they lose even once, then that is the end, they are cancelled, and everything is over. But in this story, a lot of people and characters take many, many detours-"
"-some fall from very high status, rank, or power, or what have you - but they all work towards rebuilding in some capacity. So I know it might sound very idealistic, but I think that that can apply to our real world. So it is okay, you can get back up, and give it another shot."

Today anime expo reinstates the vax mandates with a optional test mandate due to social media outrage and mean tweets. More proof that the anime convention scene has no backbone and bends easiliy to the hysterics.
