MEWAS has been accused by the Swedish Public Health Authority @Folkhalsomynd of accusing them of flouting their very own recommendations. #AndersTegnell State Epidemiologist entering a train without a mask. Even though @Folkhalsomynd on Jan 7, recommended that masks
should be worn on public transport during rush hour. And the head of @Folkhalsomynd, @CarlsonJFoHM was also caught without a mask on the train. Despite them recommending them. So is this not flouting the rules?
Would this type of behaviour be tolerated without consequences in any open, transparent, and democratic country? Would the German, Irish, or Danish, Health Ministers be forced to resign or resign out of dignity and respect to the people they have betrayed? We think they would.

to the Alps in Spring 2020. Thanks to #AndersTegnell`s policies only a fraction were tested, and there was no tracing or quarantine. Almost one year on, the science around C19 has blossomed. Most unknowns are known and within one year several vaccines have become available.
A few days ago I outlined my concerns about Anders Tegnell's lack of training and experience in statistics and it's affect on his ability to operate effectively as Sweden's Chief Epidemiologist.
We already know he didn't understand R - the reproduction number - with emails from early on in the pandemic revealing him asking colleagues how it works.
And later in an interview claiming simultaneously that the spread of infection was increasing, but R was below 1.
This of course makes no sense.
