#africandescent |Gestern hat Staatsministerin @AWidmannMauz die Online-Veranstaltung âFörderung der Teilhabe fĂŒr Menschen afrikanischer Abstammungâ ausgerichtet. Hier ein Auszug aus meiner Rede:
âWir können rassistische Zuschreibungen, die ĂŒber Jahrhunderte Denk-und Verhaltensmuster zur Folge hatten nicht von heute auf morgen âentlernenâ. Sie sind da, auch wenn wir sie nicht sehen oder auch nicht denken, dass wir sie hĂ€tten.
Das langfristige Ziel der Dekade fĂŒr Anerkennung, Gerechtigkeit und Entwicklung ist daher ein Zukunftsprojekt. Es gibt einiges, was wir heute schon angehen können. Die Resultate jedoch mĂŒssen langfristig gedacht werden.
#Thread | Aktuell wird mehr ĂŒber #Rassismus gesprochen und es wird dagegen protestiert. Das ist wichtig. Aber es genĂŒgt nicht. Schwarze Menschen in DE fordern Anerkennung und gleiche Rechte! Communities richten diese Forderung seit Jahrzehnten an die Politik. Passiert ist wenig.
Vor genau vier Jahren fand die deutsche Eröffnung der #africandescent Dekade der @UN im @BMFSFJ statt. Gastgeberin war @ADS_Bund. Die Konferenz wurde von den Communities organisiert. Wirksame MaĂnahmen bleiben bisher aus; entgegen der Verpflichtungen in GA Resolution 69/16.
